QB Jalen Hurts. December 22: After being checked for a concussion during the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles QB Jalen Hurts was declared out.
After Hurts ran 11 yards to the Washington 21, he was hurt by a tackle by Frankie Luvu and Bobby Wagner of Washington. For a moment, he seemed ready to go back, but he was led to the changing area. Later on, he was declared out for the remainder of the match.
Backup After entering the game, Kenny Pickett completed the drive by passing to A.J. Brown for a 4-yard touchdown.
Along with the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings, who are both 12-2, the Eagles (12-2) are vying for the top NFC spot. The Commanders (9-5) have a chance to qualify for the NFC wild card.
