The deadly Squid Game has returned. If you’ve finished watching the most recent season of the captivating South Korean drama, you’re undoubtedly wondering when Squid Game Season 3 will be available on Netflix.

Years after winning the 45.6 billion won prize, Season 1 champion Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) returns to the deadly challenge in Season 2. Player 459 is determined to defeat Squid Game and take down the business run by the mysterious Front Man, who becomes even more involved in this season’s deadly challenges, with the assistance of Detective Hwang Jun-ho.
Fans are already wondering how long they’ll have to wait after the action-packed Season 2 finale, which was full of rebellions, devastating deaths, and innumerable twists.
And yes, it was very much broken, one of the aspects that didn’t quite work with season 2 (spoilers follow). The two B and C plotlines about the cop finding the island and the guard interfering with an organ harvesting operation were built up all season but barely actually went anywhere, no doubt only paying off when season 3 gets here. And in season 1, we got through all six games in nine episodes. Here, we only got through three in seven episodes, and yes, it seems exceedingly likely all three will be played in season 3. At least we won’t have to wait that long.
